DAY 2

Visit Belfast (approximately 30 minute drive, or you can take the bus or train from Larne). Belfast has much to offer: an open top bus tour is a great way of getting acquainted with the city and learning about it’s history and landmarks. The local guides on the buses are amusing and informative. For museum lovers, a trip to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum (15 minutes from the city centre) is an interesting way of seeing how people used to live and work. Next to the Botanical Gardens near Queen’s University is the newly renovated Ulster Museum. You may also visit the Titanic Quarter and learn about the world’s most famous ship. Belfast is also an excellent place to shop.

DAY 3

If you want a relaxed day, you can spend it in the Glens of Antrim. A walk in Glenariff Forest Park to see its majestic waterfall is truly relaxing. En route you could visit the gardens at Glenarm Castle (a 10 minute drive), walk in Glenarm Forest and have a coffee in the village or the Castle Tea Rooms.
