Set in the village of Dunbridge and half a mile from National Trust property, Mottisfont Abbey, the Mill Arms is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists visitors to the New Forest, fisherman on the glorious Test and shooting parties in the winter months. Of such world renown is fishing on the Test that our guests have included 2 US Presidents - Jimmy Carter and George Bush Senior. With 6 completely refurbished letting rooms, a function room and skittle alley, along with a welcoming bar and restaurant, all of our guests needs can be easily catered for. Our brand new conservatory for dining looks out over the garden and patio and we have two open fireplaces, one surrounded by 3 comfy sofas, so we are sure that you’ll find a welcoming spot to enjoy our hospitality. Our 6 en-suite bedrooms all have new installed showers and light modern furniture, along with TV, DAB radio, tea & coffee facilities and wi-fi. A separate residence entrance allows you to come and go as you please during your stay. The function room is available for weddings, birthdays and use as a skittle alley. With its own bar and facilities we are able to cater for up to 120 guests. In addition it can also be used for meeting hire and business presentations. We are easily accessed by road and rail, situated directly opposite Dunbridge Station (on the Southampton to Salisbury line) and 4 miles outside of the pretty market town of Romsey on A3057. Just a 15 minute drive from both the heart of the New Forest and Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World, we're an ideal base for families visiting the area. Both Southampton Airport and Southampton Cruise Terminal are within 15 miles of the Mill Arms, so we are a great base for an overnight stay before starring your overseas travel. Additionally both historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury with their famous cathedrals are within 15 miles.
