Trerice Manor

Trerice Manor

An intimate Elizabethan manor and a Cornish gem, Trerice remains little changed by the advances in building fashions over the centuries, thanks to long periods under absentee owners.

Today the renowned stillness and tranquillity of Trerice, much prized by visitors, is occasionally pierced by the curious lilts of Tudor music or shouts of excitement from the Bowling Green (surely you will want to try a game of kayling or slapcock?), bringing back some of the bustle and noise that must have typified its time as a busy manor house.

City of Truro

City of Truro

The bustling Cathedral City of Truro is the centre for administration, commerce and tourism for the County of Cornwall. Truro, called after Tri-veru meaning three rivers which includes the Rivers Kenwyn and Allen, has developed close to the Truro River and with good road and rail links is within easy reach of almost every part of Cornwall.

It boosts an impressive cathedral, popular museum, classic river trips and a fasicnating walking tour of the city.

Newquay Zoo

Newquay Zoo

Get close to over 1,000 of the world’s rarest and endangered animals at Newquay Zoo! Located on the north coast of Cornwall, surrounded by 13 acres of lush tropical gardens it is a visitor attraction where you can run wild, explore and release your inner animal.

Watch the lions devour their lunch and then adventure into the Tropical House (if you're brave enough) and meet some of the more unusal residents including a sloth! If that isn’t enough, we have activity trails, face painting, a children’s play area, a Tarzan trail and Dragon maze to keep the little ones busy.

Holywell Bay School of Surf

Holywell Bay School of Surf

Holywell Bay School of Surf was set up back in 2003 by 2 brothers Lee and Andrew Griffin and is the longest running surf school in the area.

Having a big competitive surfing and life guarding background we felt we would be able to pass on a great understanding of the sea and surf safety with the passion and enthusiasm we both shared for the sport.
